Powerscourt Estate
& Gardens

Stroll Through Ireland’s Legendary Landscape Gardens, Just Over 1 Hour from Brielle House.

Powerscourt Estate panoramic view

Gardens of
Grandeur

Nestled beneath the towering Sugarloaf Mountain, Powerscourt Gardens span 47 acres of beautifully crafted landscape. From formal terraces to secluded grottos and sweeping vistas, each corner of the estate reveals a new layer of horticultural artistry and tranquil charm.

The estate’s elegant Georgian mansion provides a dramatic backdrop to the gardens. Inside, visitors can explore fine interiors, discover the impressive collection of artworks at Russell Gallery, and delve into the family history of the Wingfield dynasty.

Beyond the famed gardens, Powerscourt offers a wide range of experiences: a Japanese garden, a Victorian Walled Garden, and the serene Italian Garden. There’s also a duck pond, children’s playground, and a charming Avoca retail and café courtyard — making it perfect for families and visitors of all ages.

This is a lovely self catering accommodation, really cosy, comfortable and very clean.
Ann had left some essentials to start us off such as milk, coffee, cereals which we were grateful for as we didn’t need rush out after a long day travelling. We will definitely be staying again.

We came over from the UK and stayed here for a week in October whilst visiting family and friends in the Midlands. It was a perfect location, near all the places we needed to be and easy to get to from the ferry. Brielle House is a lovely, warm, cosy cottage, well equipped and comfortable.

We needed an overnight spot when attending the Taylor Swift concert in Dublin. The home is Lovely. Beautifully presented, spacious and very clean. Very kind host. Generous milk. Tea. Coffee. Cereals and biscuits left for our use. I have no hesitation recommending this home. It would make a great base if touring the Midlands, etc. Thanks, Anne, of Brielle House Guest Accommodation
