The cliffs of moher

Nature’s Dramatic
Masterpiece

Towering up to 214 metres above the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs of Moher stretch for eight kilometres along Ireland’s rugged west coast. This awe-inspiring natural wonder offers breathtaking vistas of the Aran Islands, the Twelve Bens, and beyond, where powerful seas shape a dramatic cliffscape that tells stories of geology, wildlife, and wild beauty.

Home to thousands of seabirds—such as puffins, guillemots, and razorbills—the cliffs are a paradise for birdwatching and nature lovers. Well-maintained trails allow visitors to explore the cliffs safely, with designated viewing areas offering perfect spots for photography and contemplation.

Recently upgraded facilities include the Atlantic Edge interpretation centre, featuring interactive exhibits, audiovisual presentations, and guided walking routes. Whether you’re delving into the natural heritage or simply taking in the sweeping views, the Cliffs of Moher promise an unforgettable sensory experience.

Ann had left some essentials to start us off such as milk, coffee, cereals which we were grateful for as we didn’t need rush out after a long day travelling. We will definitely be staying again.

We came over from the UK and stayed here for a week in October whilst visiting family and friends in the Midlands. It was a perfect location, near all the places we needed to be and easy to get to from the ferry. Brielle House is a lovely, warm, cosy cottage, well equipped and comfortable.

We needed an overnight spot when attending the Taylor Swift concert in Dublin. The home is Lovely. Beautifully presented, spacious and very clean. Very kind host. Generous milk. Tea. Coffee. Cereals and biscuits left for our use. I have no hesitation recommending this home. It would make a great base if touring the Midlands, etc. Thanks, Anne, of Brielle House Guest Accommodation
