St James Gate, Guinness Storehouse, Dublin

A Journey from
Grain to Glass

Located at the historic St James’s Gate in Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse offers a world-class visitor experience inside the former fermentation plant of the original brewery. Spanning seven storeys, this self-guided tour immerses you in the story of Ireland’s most famous export — from its humble beginnings to its global legacy.

Each floor reveals a new chapter of the Guinness story. Learn about the ingredients and brewing process, discover the brand’s legendary advertising, and explore the impact of Arthur Guinness’s 9,000-year lease that helped shape modern Dublin. Interactive displays, giant installations, and multimedia exhibits bring the journey to life in vivid detail.

At the top, your visit culminates in the Gravity Bar — a glass-walled rooftop lounge offering panoramic views across Dublin city. Here, you’ll enjoy a perfectly poured pint of Guinness included with your ticket, served with one of the best views in the capital.

This is a lovely self catering accommodation, really cosy, comfortable and very clean.
Ann had left some essentials to start us off such as milk, coffee, cereals which we were grateful for as we didn’t need rush out after a long day travelling. We will definitely be staying again.

We came over from the UK and stayed here for a week in October whilst visiting family and friends in the Midlands. It was a perfect location, near all the places we needed to be and easy to get to from the ferry. Brielle House is a lovely, warm, cosy cottage, well equipped and comfortable.

We needed an overnight spot when attending the Taylor Swift concert in Dublin. The home is Lovely. Beautifully presented, spacious and very clean. Very kind host. Generous milk. Tea. Coffee. Cereals and biscuits left for our use. I have no hesitation recommending this home. It would make a great base if touring the Midlands, etc. Thanks, Anne, of Brielle House Guest Accommodation
